Bonjour! Finding good croissants are difficult in Malaysia as croissants are not easy to make in general, so we took it upon ourselves to find out where, in KL you can get the best croissants!
Dou Dou Bake
Famous for its sourdough, croissants & coffee, Dou Dou Bake has one of the croissants we’ve ever tasted! However, do be prepare that that place is overwhelmed with people and people start lining up for their breakfast as early as 7AM! Due to the strict adherence of SOP guidelines, the lines are longer than ever!
If you love taking photos, there ambience and environment there is also pretty insta-worthy!

FaSo Pattiserie
Next up we have FaSo Pattiserie, their croissants left us absolutely speechless! On top of that they have colourful & pretty desserts for sale too! Since FaSo is pretty well known, they do limit their production and their croissants & desserts sells out pretty fast so its best to go there early.
Oh & did i mentioned that the owners are actually muslims, so the everything they serve is Halal!

Croisserie Artisan Bakery
“Best croissant I have and surprisingly the price is cheap as well”
“Great croissant!”
“Yummy pastries and petit gateaux! 😍
Staff by the counter were patient and friendly, however due to Covid and SOPs, the queue for dine-in is extra long on weekends and the takeaway process was rushed to prevent customers from lingering in the already narrow walkway at the ground floor.”
These kind reviews about Croisserie Artisan Bakery does not need further explanation! Their pastries and croissants especially have received lots of great reviews!
