Terms and Conditions

About this Promotion

This Hargapedia 12.12 Check-in Contest campaign (“Promotion”) is organized by Hargapedia. All participants to this Promotion are subject to these Terms or such other terms and conditions that Hargapedia may impose. Hargapedia reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate or modify this Promotion without any liability to Hargapedia. By participating in this Promotion, participants are deemed to have agreed to and accepted these Terms and versions as subsequently amended. This Promotion and related prizes (if any) are not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotional product bundle outside of this Promotion. Entries are not transferable or assignable.

Promotion Period

This Promotion runs from [8:00pm, 8 December 2020] to [11:59 pm, 12 December 2020] (“Promotion Period”). Hargapedia reserves the right to modify or extend the Promotion Period at its sole discretion.


  1. This Promotion is open to individuals who are Hargapedia app registered users in West Malaysia only.
  2. Hargapedia reserves the right to verify the eligibility of each participant and to disqualify any ineligible person from (i) his/her participation in this Promotion; and (ii) receipt of any prize and/or require the return of any such prizes awarded. In such an event, Hargapedia reserves the right to select a new winner for the prize and/or dispose of the prize in any manner it deems fit, at its sole discretion

Promotion Procedure

  1. Users are required to check-in in Hargapedia app by tapping all three (3) Lazada and Shopee buttons to complete one day check-in.
  2. Each check-in is equivalent to one (1) point from 8 December 2020 20:00 to 11 December 2020 19:59.
  3. Each check-in is equivalent to five (5) points from 11 December 2020 20:00 to 12 December 2020 23:59.
  4. Users are required to fill in all the personal information and submit the entry.
  5. Those who have at least 5 points will stand a chance to win a Gift Box worth RM168.
  6. 1 point is equivalent to 1 chance.
  7. Submission from the same mobile number and email address will be counted as 1 (one) entry only.


  1. There will be 88 winners for this Hargapedia 11.11 Check-in Contest campaign.
  • Hargapedia reserves the right to change the prizes without prior notice.
  • Products in the gift box are sponsored by brand owners which may be near expiry date. Winners are advised to take their own precaution and exercise their own diligence before consuming these products. Hargapedia and the sponsors of the gift box will not bear any liabilities or responsibilities arising from the consumption of the products in the gift box
  • Prize are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Hargapedia reserves the right to replace any prize with another of equivalent value without notice. Hargapedia accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize values.
  • Hargapedia will take reasonable steps to advise and adhere to the actual collection/delivery date of all prizes, but will not be responsible for any delays.
  • To the extent permitted by law, no representations or warranties are made as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any prize (or any part of it). Acceptance of any prize will, to the extent permitted by law, constitute a full release and discharge of Hargapedia by each winner from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, and/or damages which the winner may have, whether known or unknown at the present time, of any nature whatsoever, arising out of or relating to: (i) this Promotion; (ii) personal injury and/or property damage, theft or loss suffered by the winner as a result of the use and/or enjoyment of the prize; and/or (iii) any tax liabilities in relation to this Promotion, prize and/or use or enjoyment of the same.

Winners and Judging Criteria

  1. 88 winners will be randomly selected from all successful check-in entries.
  2. Each address entered will be allowed up to a maximum of 1 winner only. Multiple entries for the same address will be considered as a single entry.
  3. Participants must check-in in Hargapedia app and earn at least five (5) points in order to be eligible to stand a chance to win the aforementioned prize.
  4. The winner of this Promotion will be announced before [31 December 2020] and will be notified by announcement on Hargapedia app, Hargapedia BM & CN Facebook Page or by email. The winner is required to revert to Hargapedia or its designee with confirmation of details eg Full name, address etc (hargapedia@intrack.com.my) within 3 working days after the announcement. Hargapedia reserves the right to terminate/forfeit entries if the winner does not respond within 3 working days.
  5. Once winners have received the prizes, do us a favour and snap a picture of yourself with your gift box. The photos will be shared on Hargapedia’s platforms including but not limited to the app, Facebook and blog. Winners have the right to censor their faces (maybe an emoji?) if they don’t want to reveal their faces.
  6. The results will be final and Hargapedia will not entertain any appeals. Instructions for prize collection will be given to the winner in the notification. No compensation will be due to the winner who fails to claim the prize within the stipulated time.
  7. Processing & delivery of the prizes will be delivered in 4-5 weeks after CMCO.

Release and Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, each participant, by entering this Promotion, expressly releases Hargapedia from any claim, action or demand arising out of or in connection with this Promotion or their prize, if any. Participants will indemnify Hargapedia, its agents, employees, representatives, associates, affiliates, parent and subsidiary companies against any and all claims, losses, costs, damages, liability and expenses arising out of the participant’s breach of any of these Terms.


  1. Hargapedia is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of participation in this Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. (d) The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, [Facebook, Instagram, etc.] (“Third Party”). Participation in the Promotion assumes the acceptance of the Third Party’s terms and conditions of use.
